How To Deal With Mom Guilt + Stress
As a mom, it is so easy to become overwhelmed, anxious, isolated.
Whether you are a stay at home mom, or a working mom, I am 100% sure we all struggle with “mom guilt”.
Our society has so much pressure on the mother figures to be perfect: bring in an income, yet stay at home with our children, yet build our careers and identity, yet not allowed to take a break from our children, AND our every move is being watched under a microscope.
I am here to break that societal mindset.
The baby blues is REAL.
We deserve breaks, without judgment or guilt.
You are allowed to follow your dreams, education, career, and goals without eye rolls.
You are allowed to be a stay at home mom, without expectations to do a million things.
You are allowed to do exactly what your heart and family desires. It is that simple.
Please read that again, friends!
Below, I included some of my FAV questions to help reduce stress, anxiety, and overwhelm as a mom:
If you could have a perfect, realistic day with the children 6am-9pm, what would it look like? What would having this perfect day make you feel like? (I have a free PDF below!)
What brings you to a calm, and collected place during the day? Do you: journal, do yoga, exercise, meditate, take a shower, or take a bath to bring yourself to a more collected mindset? Add that into the PDF!
What makes you stressed, anxious, and/ or overwhelmed during the day? How can you reduce the amount of stressors? How can you add that in the PDF? (Meal prep, using a planner, reduce your workload.)
What type of games and activities do you like to do? How can you incorporate that into your motherhood journey for quality time? How can you add that into the PDF?
What makes you feel like a good mom? Write allllll the things that make you a good mom, and include it in the PDF.
